The Creaok (Cree-oak) of Bryn Moth had abducted and studied countless alien life forms for many, many years before finding a solution to their dwindling population. Once humans were identified as their target, they planned the abduction of 50,000 females from Earth. They had no need to attack Earth to accomplish their mission, as their ships were strong enough to deter anything humans might throw at them (although the humans gave no resistance) and the abductions were successful.
Their Science Leader is Commander of the mission and as they begin the return trip to Bryn Moth, he and many of his science officers become fascinated by one human on his ship. She had stepped forward to calm the others and lead them to where she found their living quarters. The Commander taps into her brave willingness and leads her to each of the other ninety-nine ships in the fleet to do the same thing. Along the way, one science officer asks to study the one they call ‘the silent one’, and the Commander invites him to join him when he returns to his own ship so they can do that as a team.
Other members of the alien race may or may not be okay with the study of the silent one and the mission in general. I’m still working on the whole ‘personality types’ of the alien beings, specifically and in general. Do you think there are narcissists and sociopaths in space?
