I Saged My Website

Evil spirits are gone for the moment, but some will return. They always do. They’re in the cloud.

All kidding aside, when I worked in IT and IT Audit, sometimes I had to tell non-IT people that “magic stuff doesn’t happen”, except I often used a different s-word.

I’m using WordPress, and normally I like to remove any mention of WordPress from the site. People who like to hack can narrow down what tools to use and the vulnerabilities to take advantage of when they know. Hackers suck, but some of them are very good at the stuff they get up to. It’s fairly easy to find what you’re using as a content management system, even if it’s not identified, but I don’t like to make it easy.

But I do like WordPress as a content management system, and the reason I won’t remove the mention of it here on this template I found is because this new template is called Astra.

It seemed like a sign.

You know. Magic stuff.
